What behaviourial change did for me

20 January 2009

What behaviourial change did: You experience (and please share a little detail):

“I would often speak without thinking about my responses. I am very much aware of my responses and am now more aware of choosing the appropriate response. When I am in my car and someone cuts me off or drives recklessly instead of swearing under my breath and getting myself worked up I give them the benefit of the doubt…to an extent : ) Choosing the right or better response in a situation makes a huge difference to the outcome. I have also minimized judging others. I have always been aware of the unfairness of judging others but would sometimes get involved and judge too. Know if I see my self going in the direction of judging someone I stop immediately.”
